To be fair, Stuart Skinner has basically been a god for them since December. Dude's back up to a .910 sv% on the year.

Also to be fair - goaltending is a significantly lesser concern for the Oilers than their abhorrent D.

But I wouldn't be feeling super confident in their goaltending either. If I'm managing that team and trying to turn it into a contender, I prioritize the defense, the goaltending, and then the offense, in that order.

I think it's not so much priority, but availability of players,

There isn't exactly any surefire bonafide #1s on the market at the moment. Anyone you trade for would be basically be as much of a question mark as Skinner is.

Gibson's been meh for the last several seasons, and it's a crapshoot if he'd return to form elsewhere.

Markstrom's had an up and down career so far in Calgary, and I don't think he'd waive to move nextdoor to Edmonton.

Saros would be the dream, but I don't think Nashville is quite ready to pull the trigger on a rebuild, which they would be doing once Saros is moved.

For defenseman, I'm sure they want to upgrade, but they don't exactly have cap room, and the two inefficient contracts that are dragging them down are basically unmovable.

Oilers have all the same problems as the Leafs, but even worse.

Watching the Ducks quickly moving the puck around and just getting shots on net. Why aren’t we doing that?

How is that not a slashing or goalie interference penalty? The reffing in this league is such a joke

Oilers fans talking shit because we lost to Boston but they can barley beat the ducks lmao

So unusual. Markstrom got the 1st assist on Calgary's 1st goal, but 2 assists were awarded. Not sure I have ever seen that before.

Well the Canucks lose in OT, so I am going golfing. .....
