They're not even looking. (lol)6-2, ouch...
Yeah they HAVE to find a better goalie, Skinner and Pickard are not gonna cut it.
How da FUQ is edmonton management just """discovering""" that Henrique and arvidsson have NMC and NTC clauses
6-2, ouch...

I will continue to laugh at that moment in the 2021 draft where Wallstedt drops into their lap, and they traded down and Minny gets him instead.
One of the most baffling draft decisions in recent memory.... absolutely mind boggling
Steve Tambellini grinning like an idiot while they draft Yakupov when the absolute last thing they needed was another winger.
Flames leapfrog the Canucks, and the Ducks/Blues/Utah are closing in.
Hard as it is to wrap your head around after last season, if this latest Canuck swoon continues, their first round draft pick could well come in somewhere in the top-10.
Imagine they drop to wildcard.Oilers about to lose 6 of their last 7 games
Hate to see it
Goaltending isn't good but the problems are beyond goaltending. The blueline is awful. The forward depth is just as bad. And honestly you still have McDavid not playing any real semblance of a 200' game.6-2, ouch...

They aren't as good of a team as last year. But a focused McDavid and Draisatl can carry a team a long way. And Skinner has shown the ability to get hot for a few weeks.the last time y'all talked this much about how bad the oilers are they nearly won the cup
Spending $10MM on olds (Arvidsson, Henrique and Skinner) while moving out $9MM of fasts (Broberg, Holloway and McLeod) was a questionable decision when made and father time's influence isn't helping at all. All three guys they punted have leveled up significantly, while the olds - unsurprisingly - are trending in the opposite direction.
It will be fascinating to see if McDavid re-signs there this summer. I can't imagine why he would.
They absolutely may have talked about it at the time, and McDavid might also have noticed the moves made in the offseason to supposedly help him get closer to a cup have been disasters (as they have every other year). Maybe he's dumb enough to stay and participate in the clown show, but I sure won't be surprised if he leaves. Other than some sense of bizarrely misplaced loyalty, why would he stay?I mean he is absolutely going to. I bet he and Drai talked about it last summer.
I doubt I would if I saw what was happening, but a lot of players seem not to, and chase money or something instead.
Not to mention that Broberg and Holloway would have signed for considerably less prior to receiving the offer sheets.
How much would you bet he leaves? They absolutely may have talked about it at the time, and McDavid might also have noticed the moves made in the offseason to supposedly help him get closer to a cup have been disasters (as they have every other year). At some point he's going to really care about his legacy. The thoughts will come slowly and then all at once. Crosby won his second cup when he was 28. McDavid has none, and the team around him is horribly constructed with little in the pipeline and one other core piece...two if you count Bouchard. If they get bounced out of the playoffs early, the doubt is going to start to creep in and then the finger pointing will start.McDavid leaving the Oilers is a fun fantasy but there's a reason that they hired his agent to run the team.
This is McDavid's team. The only real question is how much he extends for. If it's a penny less than 20% of the cap, he's done them a huge favour.

Depends on the price given. 1:1? At plus money, I think that would be very +EV.How much would you bet he stays?
