Wanting Lafferty in the 4th line RW spot instead of a much older, more expensive, massively worse player in Reaves seems like something everybody should want.
It wasn't because of his pace at the time, and not sure why you'd have the same expectations for a bottom six player making 1.1m and a top six player making 5m.

Most people had Oilers as just a matter of where in the top 3 of the pacific will they finish.

Right now they're 30th in the NHL. Hard to claim that anyone is a bigger disappointment

Plenty had them as the undisputed champs.
