Devils are the only team they faced that made the playoffs last year in their last 6 game

Their schedule has been really easy like the Oilers.

Leave it to Dubas to fill up an already old team with a bunch of guys over 30 years old.

Karlsson, Smith, Eller, Rielly, Acciari, Nieto.

That team has 1 round in them max

Even Bunting is barely noticeable with the Canes. Maybe he just needs more time to adjust or the system doesn’t suit him.

Felt like we had too many of those "safe", vanilla players with no upside. And as a result, we played not to lose instead of going for the win at times in the playoffs.

Don't mind being a bit worse defensively for some much needed upgrade on offense. I'd rather not see 7 straight games of < 3 goals scored in the playoffs again.

It's laugable that people were comparing Bertuzzi to Bunting. The quality between those two players is night and day.
 
The NHL has games on all day, staggered like college football, 10,12,1,3,6,7,9, and a breakfast game tomorrow morning.
I almost wish I was 25 again….

I didn’t like the Canes signing him. They need toughness, not Bunting.

One less burger a month pays for all the games you want to see. Now if you can't afford a burger a month, but have the net, there are creative ways ...

Can't blame Bettman, he doesn't own the sports networks in Canada.

Exactly !!! I was completely shocked when I couldn't watch the Leafs vs Wings game on TV here in Ottawa.

These games are historic in nature and regional blackouts should have been waived.

The blackouts of Leaf games here in Ottawa is exactly why I will NOT attend Sens games, even if given FREE tickets.

I pay good money to receive the channels on my cable package. I should receive a refund for every game that is blacked out on a channel I have paid to receive their programming.

If the NHL truly wants to grow the game, then STOP these ridiculous BLACKOUTS !!!

I tried the SuperPak sports pact for a few weeks (free on renewal) $35.00 a month and still black-outs. I dropped it as soon as the free period was up. I had no interest in all the NCAA, NFL, NBA, ... games, so was going to pay $$ that for NHL games but even then the provider was blacking out. No revenue from me for that package. Provider driven or NHL driven policy? Do American NHL teams care about Canadian broadcasts? Doubt it.

Hollsy instrumental in the Leafs winning goal yesterday and Kerfloof lighting it up too.

How’s McCann doing so far? Asking for a friend…. :sarcasm:
