Right, I don't necessarily care what it is. Something everyone knows, or can learn easily and sing along to if they want to. And never change it. It just becomes the goal song.

I'll be shocked if one of the Cup winners aren't from the following list:


Boston, Florida, Toronto (x), Canucks, Bolts (x), Rangers.

These 6 teams have the best combo of skill + grit in the league.

Makes sense Toronto and Tampa needed a team from this group to bounce them.

When we tweak in the off season we need to ignore the other teams in the league and use these 5 as the competition. You can use logic from there that you are well equipped if the opponent changes to a team outside this list. A Liljegren upgrade is crucial. We need our Montour.

I don't think the Leafs were "goalied". Boston simply did what every team has done to the Leafs - pushed them to the outside and gave them very little space in the middle of the ice. It has worked pretty well every time for opposing teams. Makes the goalie look much more impactful than he actually is.

Same rerun that fans are tired of watching and hence why they want change. Last game we saw the Panthers come out in the 2nd, put players in front of the net and shoot pucks at the net and chase Swayman off the ice. Our core refuses to get their hands dirty. Not willing to play outside their comfort zone ever.
