Kopitar is a great player but he’s definitely not the guy you want to be captain. Same thing with Drew. You need players who are ready to throw down at any costs to get their teams going. Pastrnak got hit and he took it upon himself to fight. To show his team that I’ll do this too. That stuff shows commitment. I am willing to say with 95 percent certainty that it’s having people like Kopitar and Doughty who aren’t leaders, leading the team. I have ZERO respect for Anderson after he didn’t stand up for himself after getting ran by the same player twice.

It’s great that the Kings think taking such a bonafide Cup favorite Oilers team full of all-time greats to 5 is such an accomplishment considering they immediately turn into annoying speed bumps to the first actual good team they play.
