Still pretty amazed that a 2 player team is actually kind of successful in today's NHL.
Yeah it's pretty shocking that the Wild are one of the top teams off the backs of Kaprizov and Gus

Until the playoffs...(usually)Still pretty amazed that a 2 player team is actually kind of successful in today's NHL.
Frankly, that one is surprising too.Yeah it's pretty shocking that the Wild are one of the top teams off the backs of Kaprizov and Gus
In the old days, it would be a case of knocking on the door one year, and breaking it down the next, but I don't see it with EDM. Maybe if they get a hot goalie, but you could say that about a few teams. Too top heavy, and i think they got worse, not better, during the off season.Oilers' fans even more insufferable right now....if that's even possible.
Still unbelievably thankful for the Panthers beating their butts last spring. Hope Edmonton never gets that close again.
I'm not throwing any stones, at least till we win one playoff series. Actually we could do a lot worse than play EDM.Finally beating us badly (with the help of all of our injuries) and beating the Knights has them acting like they're up on a pedestal above everyone else. It's hilarious, but sad. You can see their insecurities. All those years of tanking with poor results, but hey.....they almost.....almost won the Cup last year. So that's something I guess.
Oh for sure.....us not winning a playoff series is expected. But we haven't been swimming in #1 draft picks for years. I sure as heck wouldn't put us up on a pedestal right now. Just funny how mighty they can act when they really don't have much hardware to show for their years of tanking.I'm not throwing any stones, at least till we win one playoff series.
