On the mainboard they're all praising Grier. I think the deal is not that great for the SJS, first round picks are overvalued on these boards and those picks are at least 3 years away to have an impact IF they make it to NHL in the first place.

Seems like a pretty standard 1st for good expiring contract deal. SJ is still in 'asset acquiring' mode so it's useful for them.

As if the names weren't bad enough, the logos are somehow worse. The logo they picked for Hockey Club is actually not bad, but the name is awful. The other two logos look like they were taken directly from clipart stock photos. None of these are good.

Pretty much. Untimely icing late in the game, missed open net in the dying minutes (which would have tied the game), and easily knocked off the puck. In fact, he would skate in and turn it right over like Zucc.

We don't need him. We have enough like him.

Both of the 'big' name goalie prospects have been traded. Askarov and Knight. Just goes to show you goaltenders have little value and shouldn't be drafted in the first. Wonder if Wally is next.
