Holy crap! I'm going to actually have to cheer for Florida to win the Cup. I feel like a lightning bolt will strike me at any moment for doing such a silly thing.

I liked the Panthers arena when I went to a game there a couple years ago. It's a just in an awful location.

Hate to say told you so but I have to wonder what the team would have looked like with Bill Zito running the show. He was aggressive and the Panthers have had two Cup Finals. Also Fenton is one of his advisors as well.

Rangers looked so solid all season, only to fail in the playoffs. Too bad for them.

Panthers to the SCF again, just like last year. Paul Maurice is an amazing coach, where was Leipold when this coach was available?

Playing out as I'd hoped so far.

Now that it's down to two, pulling for Florida. Because Oil fans don't need added fuel to be more obnoxious about McDavid. Hopefully the rug gets pullout on that validation. I'd like to like the guy, but Grease Stain fans make it untenable.

I'm actually glad it's Oilers vs. Panthers. Those were the two teams I wanted to have get there from the start, and that almost never happens to me.

Ok, I would have actually picked the Predators vs. the Islanders in a perfect world, but this was my 2nd pick for both conferences. I now get to witness history either way: either McDavid carries Gretzky's legacy (a lot of Oilers contributed to both versions of that team, but lets be honest, that's how it'll be framed) and finally bring another Cup to Edmonton, or the Panthers win their first Cup. I'll be happy for either fanbase. Both have dealt with a lot of bullshit.

McDavid needs to win a Cup sometime though. He is the best player in hockey and it would be a shame if he didn't ever win one.
 
I'm fine with either losing. Either the Canada drought continues, or Florida does a Buffalo Bills impression (sort of).

Officials have ignored a too much man penalty and a boarding from behind penalty against Edmonton in less than 10 minutes so far.
