I don't really see us being able to add much, if anything, in FA unless someone is sent packing.

Guerin said that he doesn't expect to do much in the first day of FA. He'll be dumpster diving for a forward in FA, basically. D is set, with an additions likely coming from iowa.

I would imagine that any FA forward will be a guy with toughness, qualities that Beckman, Walker, and Rossi.

First good news of the free agency.

Now let's just hope we don't hear about a Foligno extension.

I'm ok with a Foligno extension if it's at about 2.5-3M. He will go back to being our tough guy, and a tough guy who can play, as well.

Agree, but may have been a situation where he didn’t want to sign here. I’m surprised he signed for that cheap of a contract.

I had no expectations of being able to get him back here, but that doesn't ease the mild disappointment that he signed elsewhere.

Good thing about all these 1-year deals is the Wild will have a decent selection of UFA centers next season.

It's a not a bad $5m deal because it's only 1 year. Zucker spikes good years when it's a contract year.
