Damn, Pionk off the market, was hoping we could Orlov him for a year or two next to Slavin while Morrow develops a bit more in the AHL.
The Rangers of this era make for an interesting book down the line. Lots of material:
- PR staffer firing
- Panarin settlement
There’s always one or so out of the norm in every situation.Sigh, and like clockwork, HFB has completely already devolved to essentially calling the woman in the Panarin case a slut who should have known better while excusing Panarin for 'just being a little too aggressive when he got the wrong signal'.
Geez apparently in that Panarin article there was another reference that one of the team's social media employees was giving a player their prescription anxiety pills to deal with flying.
Which... that isn't good, either
You hate to see it
Nah just kidding, watching him drag the Stars down right after the trade has been nice
I typically am not all that interested in playoff series outside of ones involving the Canes, but I'm super pleased to see that regular season results will give us the Fight For Florida, the Onslaught of Ontario, and Mikko Muck-up in the first round. Good stuff.
They worked in a bonus for Nikishin if he wins the Conn Smythe?that’s ****ing incredible
Signing bonus?Never thought of this until now. Of the NHL players only get paid during the regular season and Nikishin plays in the playoffs, he is playing for free right? He has no money at all from the NHL only what he made in the KHL. I would assume there's some type of injury insurance in case he has a career altering injury.
Also that would mean Makar who came from college had nothing?
The playoffs teams get some sort of bonus sum that is then divided between the players. Plus, what bleedgreen said, his first year signing bonus should be paid to him on some date which they have agreed on when negotiating for the contract.Never thought of this until now.
