Around the League 47 Vancouver Collects All the Petterssons

Yeah, what I immediately noticed was I had forgotten how fast he was in his younger years. The kid was flying for many of those early goals.

Also #12 is the first of many one-timer goals from his office. Followed by #19, 25, 35, 50 (maybe, hard to tell), 52, 57, 65, 71, 78, and 97 (another maybe). And that's only in the first 100
I think ALOT of people forgot what he was in his 20s. The best way I can describe it was a right handed Pavel Bure - if he was also huge and played physical. So like pretty much nothing we’d ever seen before.

I wonder if that’s why I have always hand a muffin of a shot but I can go bar down from in tight very easily.

That would make sense. On a practical basis, the accuracy is more useful than the power.

My boys are both right hand dominant but one shoots left and one shoots right. Gave them a straight stick at learn to play and they figured out what they preferred from there so I really have no idea.

Mine are the same way.

Flat blades should be mandatory for entry-level youth leagues.

Well, as bad the Canes were tonight, at least they didn't blow a 5-2 lead with 1:00 to go in the game.

Vancouver won 6-5 in OT after trailing 3-0 and then 5-2 with 1 minute left.
Watched the end. Crazy last 5 minutes as first Dallas scores twice (1 an empty net), then Vancouver scores 5v5 at 19:00 and then score two more with goalie pulled. MR gets a penalty in OT and Canucks score just after he gets out of the box 4v4

Tough break for this prospect:

Damn. Poor kid.

i'm assuming his brother / former cane current pens prospect cruz has been checked and is clear. So random.

From Friedman's 32 thoughts today: "New Jersey’s Sheldon Keefe said there’s a chance Dougie Hamilton could return for round one,"

Catch the highlights of the Sharks/Wild game if you can.

Ericsson Ek and Kaprisov both return after long injuries. Ek has 4 goals in his return, Kaprisov with the OT winner. Celebrini also had a hattrick.

The only downside is that it was likely Fleury’s last home game and an 8-7 OT game is probably not how he’d want to end it.

I dunno, an 8-7 overtime win is certainly more memorable than a 3-0 shutout or something similar.

Lightnings top prospect by a wide margin is at an impasse with the club. Potential Cutter Gauthier situation coming this offseason?
