Thankfully, the USA is a highly patriotic Country and I doubt the Anthem will be silenced. With Lenovo located in a State with a huge Military presence, the crowd in attendance is very favorable to both the Anthem and standing up & celebrating for the Military person of the game.

As a Marine who served in the 70's, I'm in the camp that enjoys both the singing of the Anthem before the game (Canes had a wonderful woman sing the other night) and wish Fox/Bally/FanDuel would broadcast them (as against MSG and Canadian broadcasts that value the singing & show them).

Then again, I love my Country and having travelled the world and been to many different Countries, I view the USA as best in class.

I mean, playing anthems is inherently political, and if you don't want people to make political statements by booing them, don't play them. I'd also love to see the celebrations of the military stop. Why aren't they doing that for USAID workers or diplomats, who are also putting their lives on the line in extremely dangerous places of the world? It's a hockey game. I'd rather not have militarism shoved down my throat.

Also story time. I got to pee in the away locker room last year. The entire time I was using the pisser, I just couldn't help but think what NHL legends had also pissed in the same urinal that I was using I was like this is legendary.

The visitor locker room should be as bare bones as the CBA allows. f*** the comfort of the visiting team, I genuinely love that they all hate being there. Make the whole trip into Raleigh a nightmare from the moment they land to the moment they leave.

It may be just me, but I think the "Fake LA" side has more teams actually originally from that area.

No it isn't you it's actually true. 1 of 4 "true" LA teams are actually from LA while 3 of the "fake" LA teams were founded there.

Founding cities

Dodgers - Brooklyn/NYC -> LA

Lakers - Detroit -> Minneapolis -> LA
Galaxy - LA

Angels - LA (and the LA Angels name goes back to 1912)

That’s nicer than the home locker room was at the Civic Center. I think they’ll manage.

At the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium one of the Men's johns leaked into the visitors locker room and was never fixed. Was like that for a decade plus. Meanwhile the home side was updated every few years.

Someone should inform McAvoy, that is the vistor's locker room for College Basketball too. And it's up to the College not the Canes to furnish that locker room, I do believe.

Personally and this is just my opinion but our arena could use those upgrades they've been wanting. I wish the upper deck for instance wasn't so cramped but it is what it is.

Also, the home locker rooms could use an upgrade. Honestly thought after Dundon bought the team that would be the first thing done.

Chivas USA were disbanded several years back and essentially reformed a few years later as LAFC. LAFC built a stadium on the site of the old LA Sports Arena.

Yeah, a subsidiary of massive Mexican club Chivas Guadalajara. Never got the backing from ownership to be competitive, a doomed from the start franchise that lasted 9 years.
