True, but they got a five minute major. Honestly that’s how Rod would have us handle it vs giving pp time back to them. Today’s NHL isn’t the same. Most versions of our team over the last 20 years wouldn’t have done a thing if it was one of us. This years version Id like to think would do something but I don’t make assumptions.

I haven't seen this years team hardly ever take exception to anything except KK on occasion...we don't even make them pay with physical play or hits. Just one year I'd love to see a physically engaged Canes team, those games are fun to watch around the league

I know I'm talking about a video games but on one of the last few NHL games (haven't played the last two) leading the calder race by a lot, hit the button to fight after a team mate got blown up. Absolutely demolished the guy, egged on the fans, and promptly went to the locker room cause I broke my hand and was out for 6 weeks. Lost the Calder by a few goals.

Just saying being overly physical takes its toll on the team that's hitting also.

I'm not sure who that Blues player is but I guarantee his nose turned into Rods nose afterwards.

Conboy was with us from 07-10. Two Blues wore 55 during that time: Christian Backman and Cam Janssen.

I know another fight involving the Canes where pain was inflicted.
