An MVP even.
The fact the Slavin has the 4th fastest recorded time this year is a little surprising. I never thought he was slow, as a matter of fact I know he can skate, just didn't know he was that fast.
Had to be that back check a couple of weeks ago where about a dozen of us couldn’t figure out where the hell he even came from.

I'm in process of compiling info on 9 other players beyond Aho, Svetch and PK (7 current and 2 on different squads this year).

Slavin top end speed has consistently been 72 percentile or higher over the last 4 years with speed bursts percentile well above that. NHL EDGE has some great data and worth a deep dive if you have time (lol, which I do)

Is there a way to break down speed backwards v forward? I would bet Slavin's right at the top on speed skating backward.
