Watching Preds. Hal Gill on the broadcast team has a striking resemblence to Rosie Rose. Wish I could find better pics.

There was some fan base angst in seeing TT leave and during his fast start but stats (-8, ouch) have slowed down with 5x5 bad (& I believe Canes replacements(s) have been a better fit this year):

Speaking of the Predators, I thought after that first win 2 weeks ago they'd get their shit together but they haven't. I guess there's still time but man that team right now is 100% ass
I'll just say that Trotz coming out and saying "we either fix it now or we blow it up and rebuild" probably isn't going to help with locker room morale right now

I was just thinking this morning that so far this early in the incredibly small sample size, many of the guys that left are either having meh years themselves, meh or worse team years, or both. It doesn't really matter and there may be a lot of turnarounds to come, but it's interesting compared to our great start and most of our replacements fitting in quite well.

Agreed.....so far, Noesen has been the best performer with Pesce's sample size small but promising (although Kuzy & TDA are producing in the KHL).

I mean points wise that's about what I would have expected (OK, I would have expected the split to be 1-7, not 4-4) but Chicago's a flat out bad team with a horrid defense. That +/- is no shock. I feel bad for him and Mrazek playing on a clear rebuild that's still in its early phases, though pretty happy Mrazek is still kicking around given how his Toronto stint went.
