People accuse the Canes and Isles of being a slog fest, but this Ranger's Caps game is almost unwatchable from the start. It's winning hockey though to clog up the neutral zone.

Except not allowing easy entry through the neutral zone is key the Canes success defensively. They don't run a traditional neutral zone trap, they more rely on good skating defensemen that play tight gaps and subtle interference to clog it up.
