Around the League 24 25

St Louis could be a problem considering they are playing out of their minds, but falling back down to earth may also be on the menu.

But the Jets are missing Ehlers and Vilardi (maybe only for a game or two). Ehlers missing in particular weakens the the Jets 2nd line, but of course lets see which Helle shows up.

But yeah I agree you gotta give them the benefit of the doubt considering they basically dominated all season long.

I would never bet on a team with Ryan Suter. Just on principle, he should be responsible for 2 or so losses himself

Yeh Paryko in and Ehlers out is definitely a favourable swing for St Louis.

I think that series goes all the way to 7. Jets win it at home.

Right now I'm thinking

Winnipeg in 7
Vegas in 5
LA in 6
Stars in 7

Toronto in 6
Florida in 7
Washington in 5 (whoever they play)
Carolina in 4

Mostly agree with the above.
Only differences are
Tampa in 7
Avs in 5

Though I'm not sold on picking Toronto to win a round

Poink signing an extension with the Jets,

Pool of UFA defensemen got smaller, Ekblad is currently the biggest name remaining.

Pionk is solid. Has been a little up and down from year to year in Winnipeg, but a very solid RHD locked up is nice. Would love a guy like that on the Stars but there is no one like that currently in the lineup or coming from the system

Russo already going on about the refs. One of my tweets he had last night about them. I counted at least 3 others that I didn't include here lmao such a clown

To be Fair, Furman was a terrible ref in the AHL too, he didn't get better moving up to the NHL.

Think I saw Vegas was the least penalized team in NHL history this season lmao

First time ever to be penalized less than 200 times
Not only that, the previous record for least penalties in a season was held by... The Vegas Golden Knights in the 22/23 season.

They've also been the least penalized team for 4 straight seasons.

Just a coincidence.
