Our team defense overall can be good while certain players can be absolute ass.

I know, it's just funny for us to complain about our defensive depth (which is our biggest weakness) while we've allowed the least amount of goals and are 3rd best in goal differential. The Stars could be 1st in the league, cup favorites and we'd still be worried about some part of the team failing us come playoffs.

The most important thing is having 6 guys who will play a regular shift in the playoffs and that you've coaching-staff proofed the roster. Because doing whatever we did last year is not a winning strategy. Games will be won or lost based on whether Miro/Harley have anything in the tank.
Ceci, whatever you think of him, has Finals experience playing real minutes. And he's big.

I think most of us are just worried about PDB only playing 5 defensemen in the playoffs again. It cost us big time

Hartman was an RFA one summer and traded to Dallas for Stars legend Tyler Pitlick, but Nill never gave Hartman a QO so he became a FA.

Really sucks
Really sucks he did that. I often get nostalgic about his time in Dallas. Maybe my favorite former Star of the last 10 years outside of Klingberg. They both did great things in the community while providing exciting moments and indelible memories to be cherished.

You would be surprised at how many people hate the cold. I hate Dallas like people hate Winnipeg. Too hot, nothing to do.

35 years in Texas, I've had an assfull of heat. Give me cold any day, even -13F that we got last month. Anything 96f and lower is fine by me.
I hate the cold. I grew up in northern Michigan. I never want to see snow again or the cold. Texas is much better.
broter i remember standing up waiting for the school bus in -50C because it had to be colder than -55C (-67F) for schools to close
i would trade the cold for anything
ok that's a bit excessive.
but i will say, it's always easier to add layers than remove. at some point it doesn't matter after you start stripping, you're still sweating your ass off. and then ppl get upset you're in walmart naked.
