Given the bro culture that surrounds all sports, I start off assuming every athlete is a dumb POS until proven otherwise; it saves me the trouble of having of having to lower my expectations in the future.

Like its one thing to sell some overpriced sports drink or shit like that thats whatever but this woowoo new age spiritual bullshit is actively harmful. The fact the god damn piece of garbage Russel Brand is involved says as much. You can look up some of the shit he said about how he enjoyed hanging around parties at P.Diddies and connect the dots. You pall around with that guy selling scam trinkets my opinion of you is instantly complete craters.

I know a few golf pros who endorsed a copper bracelet that promised all sorts of benefits. I thought I knew one of them well enough to ask a question about whether it really worked. I got a glare and the answer, "Well, I'm wearing it, aren't I?"

My interpretation was that it was worthless as a medical assist, but very worthwhile as an endorsement deal.

And TV. And even your grill to cook up some amazing Tejas beef. The list goes on, bro. It's not hippy dippy, patchouli BO nonsense. It's even in Revelations 21:11 & 18-21. The 12 Stones of Jerusalem. They're talking about crystals.

btw, I love Dallas and have been there many times. I always go on a burger exploration and, so far, my faves are Motor & Maple and Wingfields. Any other suggestions?

Any product if sold by Russel Brand is completely worthless. No matter what it is. Whatever you think this stone is supposed to do it's not doing that . Maybe there are stones that do ( i doubt it but whatever ) but i can guarantee you this one is 100% a scam looking at the people involved .

I swear we used to have an Out of Town Visitor question thread or something, but it seems to no longer exist, or I just imagined it was a thing and never was.

Anywho to get this thread back on topic, I know that it's super early in the season (and I don't wanna jinx the Stars), but it's kinda nice seeing the season start the way it has for Nashville and Colorado. I can't say that I expected it, but I hope that continues.

Even though it's only 4 games, how the hell are the Avs letting in 6.25 goals per game

Avs goaltending looks just absolutely unuseable. Georgiev started all 4 Avs games and has 5.79 G.AA and .800 SV% . You are not winning games with those numbers. Ahunen in relief has not been any better with 4.69 G.AA and .765 SV% . .

Nashville isn't too suprising to me. Remember how it took half a season before Pavs became used to playing in Dallas and with his new team ? Now imagine if you added 3 Pavs . Preds just did that. Shits going to take time for them to get used to each other.

Avs defense sucks too. Not a single guy on that team is defending well right now

To be fair the Avs are missing lots of key players, and the D and goalies are struggling.

They will turn things around, but its nice to get a lead on them in the standings for now
