Around the League 24 25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

That reads like when Nieuwendyk made the Neal+Niskanen for Goligoski trade and there were reports around the league that other managers were annoyed that they didn't even know those players were available and said they would've given up more value.

The fact that they could have just waived him instead of giving up a 2nd makes it way more strange. Does he just feel like he owes the Sharks something?

There are fan-based rumors that wonder if this is related to the Goodrow deal, possibly with Detroit acquiring Trouba to round out the three-way "trade".

Obviously meant to be taken with a massive grain of salt.

I completely forgot the Preds have Askarov. Wonder if they're gonna try and move him as part of a package deal for a forward. Necas? Marner?

Is it fair to say Askarov is the best goalie prospect in the world.

Preds can probs afford to be patient but a real opportunity for a kings ransom to get high value for him

God I love the Predators. Just light your 1st round pick on fire. And Lundell was taken right after lol

Here's our cheap depth signing

Actually though I could see him ending up here or Colorado
