Flames couldn’t even take care of their own business, losing 3-1 to the B squad of the Knights. Teams are starting to figure out where to shoot on little Wolfie.
See ya Flames. Enjoy 17th place - again.

And ‘they never quit. Never gave up on each other and never said woe is me. Just a passionate group who were right there together to this point in the season’.Eric Francis calling the season a great success is hilarious. Only the Flames can be eliminated and finish in 17th place and that be considered a success.
That said the tried really really hard all year.
Lol
The curse of mediocrity.Have to give the Flames some credit. Junk roster. Those guys work their bags off.
Unfortunately (or Fortunately) no talent and going to be stuck in the murky middle for years.
Plus the new arena built on same flood plain and pretty much guaranteed to flood like the Sewerdome.Eric Francis calling the season a great success is hilarious. Only the Flames can be eliminated and finish in 17th place and that be considered a success.

East is interesting finish. Montreal have blown what looked to be a playoff spot. Comes down to last games now. Columbus wins and Habs lose and Jackets get the last spot and Montreal gets tears.
I'll cheer for tears in this one. Jackets are a more interesting club. At least score some goals. I fall asleep trying to watch the habs chew pucks.

Did they not? The guy was fire in that game. First game in his NHL life and he's the best player on the team. What 3 shooters could you put out instead. I'm counting Caufield....ummm.Jackets are a feel good story too. Plus I want the Habs to regret not putting Demigod in the shootout.

Whenever I watch Suzuki is completely botching everything. I'm like a curse to that club. Should watch more often.Caufield, Suzuki, and Laine… That will sting if they lose the next one.
Apparently he was going to be the fourth shooter, but Chicago beat them before he had the chance…
