Around The League 24/25. Parity, blessed parity.

Should be an interesting race for the Art Ross between Kuch and Nate-Dog. McKinnon has never won it, Kucherov twice. I'm going with Kuch, who I think has also muscled his way into the Hart conversation.

Edit: Kucherov with another 4 point game today, taking the lead. If there is a better line in the NHL than the Kucherov. Point, Guentzel, I can't think of it right now.

Looks like the top 8 in the west are pretty much confirmed now, just need the matchups to settle. No matter the matchups, I wouldn't call a single one of them a big upset if the lower seed wins, as all 8 teams are quite good. At this point I'd rather play LA than Minny or St Lou, so not winning our division isn't a big deal. Pretty even split last year as far as winning at home or on the road, 8 at home, 7 on the road.

Yes, I don't think it matters too much if the Oilers start on the road in L.A.
It will be a tight series.

Amazing what having decent goaltending can do for a team. You put Skinner on the Blues and they’re competing for a top 5 pick.

You're just going to ignore the Blues having not only a better D corps, but better defensive coverage and structure? Binnington really hasn't been that great this year, the difference is the Oilers defensive coverage giving opponents clean looks and not checking in the slot its open season to read a news paper and drink coffee in the slot with out being bothered.

Sharks giving no help tonight and none expected. 6-1 Kings and counting. sigh. Maybe we could give them Arvid back;)

We control destiny still that we could get 2nd place but that would require beating Kings twice (to control destiny) and matching records down stretch in remaining games.

Foegele looks damn good out there. Watched the game last night. He always had the speed, size, and shot but seemed panicked, wouldn't go to the net as much as someone like him should.

Worried about that first round matchup. How many times can you beat a team in a row?

As many as it takes.

Kind of like the Oilers of the 80's going through Winnipeg every year en route to the Cup. Just part of the journey.

I’ve watched other Kings games and his issue remains. Consistency. He doesn’t bring it game in and game out.

I think Dallas will lose to the Avs. Have the firepower, but a little timid, and I don't like their defence. I like Tampa in the east. Reloaded nicely.
