imagine being 8 points back

if the Oilers are gonna lose, at least Vegas did too

8 points, 4, 6. Not feeling like it matters right now. Every time we are close we crap the bed, like that stinker against the Ducks. Did it to miss out on home ice late last year too.

Fingers crossed Vegas can go on an actual bad run for once and just give us no choice but to pass them :)

So far this year we've lost in regulation to the Blackhawks, Ducks, Canadiens, Blue Jackets and Penguins. All for no reason whatsoever other than pathetic work rate.

All teams lose games to bad teams, it happens even to the best. It's just the frequency of it for us that is extremely frustrating especially when it's always due to an effort issue. Not winning the division is basically a choice because they can't find a way to bring a professional effort level against bad teams.

Vancouver not able to reproduce their outlier season.
To be a little fair to them, they keep having injuries, but you are right.

They are still a top 10 PDO team this year

Quinn HUghes and Lankinen have got them hanging on. Demko still hasn't hit any sort of groove.

I guess that is their one positive. They really need a dman or two that can transition the puck.
Yes they could have won some of them, but they are on pace to break the OTL record.

Canucks have won 5 of their last 18 games.

Man LA is stingy. WPG has 9 shots after 2 periods.

Hoping for an LA collapse, but I think I would still rather play them than the PDO Nucks (if they make it)

Do the jets know you need to shoot the puck to score? What are they even doing.
