Damn. Heard NYR lost earler, but didn't know it was the Preds. That's gotta be officially rock bottom now.

Same with MTL and Buff.

Offersheet boys got torched tonight, nice to see.

Flames once again stalled at their talent limited max of 3 goals.

This guy inadvertently (and rather stupidly) exposed that the league was at least on some level corrupt. Of course the NHL was happy to fire him and move on as if nothing happened.
He must have gotten enough to satisfy him. I'll take your money and mock certain players and teams kind of thing....

Honestly, can't even clown on Buffalo. I just feel bad for them. We know all too well with our Decade of Darkness and small market, UFA wasteland, market.
Yeah I can still feel that but I'm an odd one that would rather live in Buffalo or upstate NY somewhere than NYC. At least they got Pro teams in Buffalo. It could be worse.

Dom the Dumb and Tim the Idiot. Great pair.
Theres a sequel there to be had. Hollyhood is always looking for ideas. Nobody would watch it but whats the diff? I never really get these self appointed analytics gurus. Seems like people that have a choice between being an Uber or skip the dishes driver vs calling themselves experts of something. With some strangely heeding them as they refuse to vote for Drai as MVP. To not even have him on the ballot. Oh that guy. They're all trolls.

not to get political but....yikes

One wonders if one of the looks, again, is the NHL and NHLPA turning up their noses at some Canadian franchises. Winnipeg and Ottawa be very afraid.

The other part of that is that players are paid in $US, so Canadian teams are earning Cdn revenue to pay those salaries. And the players have a spending advantage at the end of the day.
The $gap has huge consequences for the Cdn teams.

Seems as if Forbes evaluations of worth of teams like Oilers and Leafs doesn't fully capture that. In short I think the orgs are being overvaluated and that downturn revision is likely. Nor do I see the current situation being tenable. Can we keep use expecting fans here to dig ever deeper in their pockets to support the game here? Past playoffs several fans online have described how they couldn't afford playoff tickets and that they're having to pay it all off. Its like the Taylor Swift phenomenon all over. People pay whatever asking price is on tickets and then wonder how they pay it off. Recent poll 45% of people in Canada don't know how they will pay for this years Christmas. Strange times.

That mind seem to be a segue I went on but ultimately its about people that pay the gate, and that they probably won't continue to be able to indefinitely. Increasingly people are living on borrowing and thats always on borrowed time.
