And to speak to your username...hard to believe it's been over 16 years since Luc Bourdon's passing. I was a teenager when it happened and I often wonder what kind of defenseman he would've turned into if he were still with us.

He was a really amazing lad, he had such a natural skating ability.
Tough as well, such a tragedy.

On paper the TMac hire is not really that bad. It makes me laugh my ass off, but it's not awful. The team is nowhere near having a roster than can really compete so I don't think his usual playoff choking habits will matter much.

I do enjoy the delicious irony that they've hired an ex-oiler coach who really accomplished nothing, after the last 7 years of general shit they've been flinging this way for us hiring Holland. They still blame Holland for being a below average team today.

They have the softest baby shit schedule imaginable. It's a good one to have, get the good teams while they're finding their footing early in the season then crush garbage teams the rest of the way.

Golden Showers will have the division locked up, unfortunately.

Vegas usually slow down and hit a wall somewhere. We'll see what happens. Maybe Vegas this season is a +.700 team. I hadn't expected that but here we are.
