That’s f***ing insane. I’m actually kinda mad. That can kill a guy! They’re so irresponsible.

Hitting your head on ice has got to be pretty close to hitting concrete. You can die or get seriously permanently injured like that. Absolute clowns and f*** Chatfield

The messed up thing is if McMichael had been seriously injured they probably would have suspended Chatfield just for optics. The intent should be the reason for suspension not the outcome.

Lamoriello should step away from the team for thinking that signing a wild card player like Duclair to a multi year deal was a good idea.

Islanders need to get him gone before more mediocre players get signed to massive long term deals that they can never escape. There's been about one per year since he's been there at least.

The worst part for me today was listening to Carolina sports radio, with local media dissing the Caps for being upset. The Carolina host essentially said, "It's good that people think we're a dirty team; hockey is not a nice sport, and if you don't cross the line, you're not doing what it takes to win."

Vegas east. Easily one of the most obnoxious, entitled, and unaware fanbases in the league.

That would be nice, but the Oilers losing to them would be pretty much the worst possible outcome.

I’d expect that being the more likely scenario with how the year has gone. Holloway leads all players during the series in scoring while 0 goals are scored against STL when Broberg is on the ice.

Wouldn't St Louis even have home ice if they kept winning and finished with more points than the Oilers despite being a WC team?

I expect the Oilers to finish with more points, but this situation isn't that unlikely if St Louis stays hot.

It’s actually amazing that Minnesota is where they are at with all the dead cap space they have but they’re the team i’d want in the first round for sure.
 
It's crucial for contending teams in both the Atlantic and Central division to go for the division crown. Losing means a lethal cocktail of facing anyone of the Leafs, Florida or the Lightning, and having to take on the Avs right off the bat.
