Last thread hit 1000, first month is over and most teams are at or near .500

Jets come out of the gate hot as hell and not looking to slow down anytime soon despite lacking an airport.

Kaprizov leading the scoring race and Minnesota looking good with almost $15M in dead cap space.

Still early yet so lots can change.

This is a cool little segment, but man.. debeor was helping Maurice out in the finals. Like of course you’re gonna help your friend, but god damn that’s a lot of hockey IQ working against the Oilers.

Frankly I think Maurice was shook and out of answers once we were coming back and sounds like Pete might have saved his ass.

It’s us against the whole damn league and that’s fine, it’ll be so sweet if we win someday

Guess what? The Oilers/Devils game on Monday will not be shown in the city, unless one subscribes to Prime.

Not to get too deep into analytics, but the Jets have among the lowest expected goals scored in the league, but pretty much everything they shoot is going in.

They’re also among the leaders in expected GA, which should continue. Sooner than later the games they’re winning 6-1 in laughers will start to be 2-1 wins or 2-1 losses.

Would make sense...IMO DeBoer is a better coach (despite his 'chokes' in similar positions). Maurice has had some stacked lineups to work with. I think DeBoer's best lineup was that Sharks one that he went to the Finals with his first year with them

Philly plays okay but they do so many low percentage shots on net. It's a lot of gaining the zone and then tossing it at the goalie. Basically a turnover at that point

They need to get more creative and pass more (just based on this one game I've seen)
