I said to this point in the season. That’s all, by the end of the season I’m hoping it will be different but at this point they are having a lot more fun than we are. My commentary was in how disappointed we are in this team and it hasn’t been much fun and how their team is playing superior hockey and exceeding expectations. That’s all. I'm with you. I really don't have a lot of interest in it to tell you the truth. And I'll be down south in Mexico during that time, so I certainly won't make an effort to watch.

For a guy that's only been in the league for a year and a few months, Connor Bedard sure gets a lot of media exposure. He seems to be in an inordinate number of commercials and ads for a guy that really hasn't done a whole lot yet. Sure, he obviously has lots of talent, but anyone thinking McDavid needs to worry about his crown can relax.
