Toronto is on another PP right now, but they are at about 8.3% now. Worse than Edmonton somehow. Still 38 seconds left in it

Fluke injury to broberg. Marner falls on his ankle. He was due for an injury though

This Lankinen goalie keeping Canucks in this game. He has been a stellar add at 750K or whatever. I am actually shocked at how bad VAN looks overall this year. This guy has been masking some of it

Fun fact

This year so far, McDavid is 165th in drawn penalties (3 drawn). A guy who consistently gets held/mugged etc. This is what the NHL wants. For plugs to just keep up by cheating and then not calling things by the book more so than not.

Then I see sensitive EP40 now just being shoved in the back numerous times in front of the net. Not even bad. Doesn't come close to falling (like he usually does). Draws a call.

Vancouver goalies always seem to over perform.

If Mcdavid played for one of Bettman's baby franchises he'd be leading the league in penalties drawn.

Ah, and I thought 2nd pairing stud Ceci would lead the Sharks to the promised land. Guess not
Naw, he'll get them a draft pick though at trade deadline with team top minutes, 56% d-zone starts, 3:21 avg PK toi on a league 14th ranked 81.5%, 19:11 EV avg toi. That Sharks PK though is 19% better than the Oilers league worst.

Great, he should, assuming another team launders his cap hit so he can play on the bottom pairing of a contender, where he belongs. Doubtful that the Sharks PK ends up being better by season's end.

Building his case with big, quality minutes on a team with league's worst goal differential at -18. Heavy own zone starts and pk time. Good character within a losing culture. Right handed shot which is a premium attribute. He'll find a new home. Solid pick up who can be leveraged for Sharks culture build and spun off for assets.
