they clearly don't care about it, with acquisitions like jake walman and john klingberg. the team philosophy is having players who can support mcdavid's game (i.e. high octane offense). as much as i love watching them lose, i am curious if it'll ever work in the modern NHL. shades of the WCE.

I would say this is some Dimbo level shit, but then I remember they had Chiarelli, whom I'd say is only one of two GMs in the last 2 decades (the other one is the bumbling baffoon Dorion) who would put up a fight against Dimbo as one of the most trash NHL GMs.
