I just watched TSNs top 10 plays from the first round and it included Drai getting robbed by Talbot, Kempe scoring on Skinner, and goals from each of Nylander and Marner.
Maybe it's time to finally try something different...
I'm surprised they didn't show the NHL scheduling f***bag making us wait 7 days as #1I just watched TSNs top 10 plays from the first round and it included Drai getting robbed by Talbot, Kempe scoring on Skinner, and goals from each of Nylander and Marner.

And don't they have to go start practicing soon?Is the Canucks roster makeup that surprising? Canada is not known for their diving abilities. One diving gold all time at the Olympics.
Bob is so unpredictable. Even from game to game. Swayman is pretty much the same every game. Cats will be toast if Bob stays at this level.
Meh, I couldn't care less if other teams fans are cheering for us or not. Hate the whole "Canada's team" bullshit and how you are suppose to pull for another Canadian team if yours is out.

Bruins played a really solid game. Thought they had a ton of scoring chances and more than Florida despite SOG. Man, Ekblad was terrrible but the Bruins were much more agressive against Florida and much sharper on counters. With that and their goaltending they look better in game 1 than they did through much of the Leafs series.Boston well oiled and having a bone to pick with Florida.
What a goalie, or goalies Boston have. Love Swayman in net. There he is as well in the middle of a playoff game laughing and having fun. Appreciating the joy of hockey even in the pressure of playoffs.Swayman is going to put 3 Russian goalies into bed, isn't he. Started with Samsonov, now crushing Bobrowski and next comes most likely Shesterkin.
That's what those tough Alaskan guys do, they don't play around, they pitchfork you when opportunity is there.
Could make it four but we don't have Russian goalie.
Noticed the same, need to have different mind power when you are in the middle of pile and come out with puck in your blocker hand laughing. Tells that he is relaxed and relaxation comes from confidence and confidence comes when you know your own abilities without doubts. Goalie with the swagger, they are rare gems. Florida needs to find couple new gears if they want to have any chance in that series.Bruins played a really solid game. Thought they had a ton of scoring chances and more than Florida despite SOG. Other thing is Bruins survived a 7 game series and that can make a club dangerous. They were at the limit, and advanced. Florida has had only 4 playoff games in and not against a playoff calibre club.

Floridas clear strategy in game 1 was to hack Pasta down. Man they were going at him constantly. He's taken a lot of punishment to this point in playoffs. He was good in game 1 but certainly playing hurt.
There was always a divide. At one time the country divided between Habs and Leafs fans and not many making the switch ever. But that was a different thing too because loyalty to this this team or that would be spread through the nation and so that even in Edmonton you'd find a mix. There would be say 40% Habs fans 30% Leafs, 20% Boston fans ( a lot of Edmonton Flyers players went onto play with the Bruins) and maybe 10% Detroit fans or 5% Chicago fans.I also hate the "Canada's Team" bullshit.
It's narrative for people that don't really care and/or only watch in the playoffs so "cheering for the Canadian team!" gives them something to root for. Anyone that actually cares more likely than not hates most, if not all of the other Canadian teams.
Bruins seemed also confident as a group. Ekblad for the Panthers was tunneling a hole, and some doubts started to creep in. Bobo looked a bit shaky but also made excellent stops. But Bruins were having some fun yesterday and winning and scoring. I do think the Bruins are able to take more chances offensively when they have allstars in net. They have the best goaltending on the planet. I do think Bruins have to target Tkachuk more and also make Florida pay for targeting Pastyrnak so much.Noticed the same, need to have different mind power when you are in the middle of pile and come out with puck in your blocker hand laughing. Needed coach, got coach.Got Our Guy | Ottawa Senators
Travis Green named the next head coach of the Ottawa Senatorswww.nhl.com
why.
So the Canucks signed a football player as a goalie. This could fail pretty quickly.
