One more example of why this league can be so frustrating and feel like NHL officiating is WWE caliber.

In the 3rd period of a blowout game a couple nights ago, career-long POS Radko Gudas goes after a 5'10" 172 lbs rookie, knocking him into the net, gloved punches to the face.

The ref watching the whole thing gives them both roughing minors.



I have no particular feelings for the Flyers (other than it's fun watching any team coached by Torts lose) or Mitchkov, but this is as they say, bush league.

Honestly I get why, it flexes creditability and basically is an endorsement from the league that its a legit podcast.

That said, I'm sure it'll be sterile as hell filled with stories like "We had to call a plumber in your first week of our brand new house! We're just like you!"

Was Rantanen unhappy in Colorado? It's not like they're already rebuilding. I'm missing something to make it make sense from their perspective.

my guess is they knew they weren't going to be able to resign him next season due to cap issues

They can't afford to resign him and Makar next year. Rantanen is also rumored to be asking 14 per.

Drury doing his best to make the Chiarot deal not look as bad, with the Will Borgen for 4.1 x 5 deal.

Guy is -13 in 50 games with 5 pts, and only played ok with the Rangers for 17 of those games. Hasn't been anything special the last 2 years either.
