Around the League 2024-25 season

Holy crap, this seemed sudden, and I don' tknow how i didn't see it with other news today.

Bummer news, far too young, and still very involved in the game, enough that it's shocking to see his name like this

Celebrini scores 5 points and isn’t one of the stars of the game. Little too obvious, Minnesota.

Does anyone still have any doubts that the Kings are falling to 3rd

with McJesus back that Monday game is gonna be a laugher, 75% PP incoming

I think the Oilers win out from here. They have SJ x2, they’ll smother the Kings at home as always, and there’s a good possibility that the Jets will have nothing to play for.

Kings can’t be trusted to take all 3 of the “should win” games especially when they’re against teams that have their number this year in the Kraken and Flames.

The Kings are still favorites to finish 2nd, the Kings game-in-hand is tonight at home vs the Ducks, if they win and you couple it with the Kings having the RW advantage that would mean Edmonton would need to gain 5 points, with 4 games left for both teams, even with a head to head that would be tough to choke away.

If the Kings were to lose in regulation tonight you can get a bit concerned, but still likely they get 2nd

Jesus christ I just realized this was 18 f***ing years ago. What the hell.

I remember watching to this game on the Dallas broadcast, and when Nagy (who was their PLD) scored for the Kings their broadcasters basically gave the PG version of "You have got to be f'ing kidding me"

That game definitely had some generational cross-over, it tells you how long Kopitar has been at it that he competed against Modano, Zubov, Lehtinen

Three assists for McDavid in his miraculous return. It was just like the resurrection of Christ.

Too easy for him. But the best way to beat the Oilers is clearly to try and hold them to 1 or 2 goals a game over a 7 game series.

I remember watching that game with a friend and former teammate of mine that I hadn't seen in almost 15 years. Didn't the Kings actually take the lead and then Dallas tied it up, before LA won in OT? Or am I thinking of a different game?

I was at the game. Kings were down 4-0 going into the 3rd. They tied the game and went up 5-4. Dallas tied the game and the Kings won in OT Kopitar goal.
