Getting really tired of seeing ex-Kings go to another team right after us and have success. Makes me think something is rotten to the core in the org's culture, from Blucgevin on down.
Oh please, AK literally had no spot here. He still plays 4th line minutes in NY and outside the goal, he looks the same as he did here. He's still slow, out of position and floats around the blueline too much.

I’m
Kaliyev with 2nd goal of game (disallowed) but nice shot

I really am happy to see the guy having success. He is a human being, and seems like a genuinely good dude.

I just can’t help but wonder if this isn’t similar to his flashes of talent with the Kings, which waned after the grind of a season set in, and he begins to float around instead of doing the work.

Agree - remains to be seen if he can stick. Laviolette doesnt strike me as a guy that would give him a lot of rope..

So is your moms place ok?
It must be- your posting.
My best advice to you is dont bring a knife to a gunfight, sport.
Is my mom’s place ok for what? I don’t understand the joke chris.

Also, it’d be smart to bring a knife to a gunfight. If they miss you and run out of bullets or their gun jams? Boom, I got a f***in knife.

The point still stands. PLD, Durzi (when healthy), Quick, Vilardi, Faber, and now Kaliyev are all making Blucgevin look like they're out of their depth.

Bring a spoon to a gunfight. They won't expect it.

Plus with fast enough reflexes, you can deflect the bullet with the spoon.

Invalid comparison because you have to consider roles. All 3 are better in a 4th line role which isn’t about goals.

Don’t get me wrong he may outplay guys in out top 9 but that is the bracket he needs comparing with. It’s a lazy comparison he’s made.

Ok who do you want to compare him to? If that goal counted hed have as many goals as Danault and Lewis in just a couple games after missing half a season. It would be as many even strength goals as Moore. Not too mention how big of an impact he could have had on the powerplay instead of keeping Englund and Burroughs.
It was time to move on from Arty but the org really shoot themselves in the feet with some of their decision making.
I dont know how long hell last in New York though.

Absolutely no one should be surprised or sticking up for the org on this one.

Reserving judgment to see how it sticks, sure. But exactly what we said would happen all along is happening.
It's a miracle that Turcotte has turned it around, and it speaks to his character. But it's tough to see raw scoring talent like Vilardi and Kaliyev outside of the org with little to show for it. The drum beat of poor asset management drones on.

Vilardi is a f***ing gamer too. Gabe showed it his last year here against the Oilers.

Yah, the same Vilardi that 80% of the 'fans' here had written off before he ever stepped on NHL ice. Weird.

Literally every king that leaves. It’s astounding. Literally every single one

Arty is on a similar team but one that is rebounding while we sink. He didn’t even make it past #5 on waivers but somehow he couldn’t be traded at all (likely related to the self tanking of value)

But most of the others are on literal champion or league leading teams…who can find some place for them but we can’t. That’s absolutely damning. Vilardi, PLD, Faber, Durzi (IR), Roy, Walker, even Tobi.

It’s fun to watch their confidence and moxie on these other teams and honestly that’s the most damning part in comparison to how they look here and how the org shittalks them before shuttling them off.

The damage to this franchise in the wake of Luc and Rob will be irreparable. I’ll bet after uncle Phil passes aeg sells for cheap.

Such a bullshit post....lol

It didn’t count, I’m sure we’ve had players with goals disallowed.

I’m just saying compare players within their role. I wouldn’t compare Lewis to Kempe because they have very different roles. A 4th line role is not the same as a middle six role, which is why we all rightly complain that Kaliyev was unfairly judged by some based on his deployment. That’s only a fair argument (which it is) if it goes both ways.

So if you want to compare him to Moore then fine. I’m just saying it’s not relevant how many points Helenius etc have, because they are not snipers or are they expected to be snipers/offensive players. In the same way I don’t criticise Kaliyev because he’s not as good defensively as Helenius.

I’m in the 20%. It was dumb trading him.

Woah TWO goals?!
