Thwy have almost fallen out of a playoff spot. Seems like one of Colombus, Pit, or even the Rangers will grab that spot.

That's probably accurate. Since the 93 Leafs almost going to the final, beating Ottawa have probably been the high points for this team. Then again, those series were a while ago. I'm not too worried about this actually happening, but then again, I wasn't too worried about losing to MTL a few years ago either, until it happened.

I am kinda warming up to the idea of facing Boston if Leafs win the Atlantic and Boston is in a wildcard spot. Should be a good test to see if things have really changed, if this team is really different than previous iterations.
