Needs need to start a rebuild from their rebuild.

They interviewed Brady in between periods and it just seemed like he did not give a shit. This dude is asking for a trade in the near future.

Guy's been partying too much with brother Matthew.

I don't see Minny falling off. Admittedly, I had them outside the playoffs before the season, but Hynes has them playing a good, sustainable brand of hockey. Kaprizov is also a beast and may win the Hart
They will absolutely fall off. Then they will get knocked out in the first round.

Brady won't be wearing the C on his new team. He obviously can't handle it.

I think it’s going to be great, looking forward to it.

I don't see much good coming from it, other than some additional revenue and maybe you entice some more non-hockey fans to buy in.

Teams are putting their best forwards into a meaningless tournament in the middle of a season, and the reward is risking players' health.

Of course you can be entertained without Matthews or McDavid or ... if they get injured and are lost for the season.

No difference than an Olympic year.
It'll be pretty obvious once the first game starts whether the players find it meaningless.
All indications are that they are looking forward to it.

You don't actually see this as equal to the Olympics.
Right?

Risk may be similar, but where is the reward?
All revenue being added to the players salary allocation?
No it's not equal to the Olympics, that doesn't mean the players don't care.

It's fine if you don't think that the leagues top players who have never had the opportunity to play on their respective Mens National team are indifferent to it. I believe they are very excited to take part.

With Matthews injury this year I hope he skips it

Oh, I'm sure most want to be invited.

They don't pay the freight though.

We were begging for Trotz over Treliving at one point or was that my CBD enhanced imagination ?

I think Trotz learned GM'ing from Lou, except it was Lou now, not Lou when he was actually a good GM. Overpay UFA's, dump decent talent if they won't play ball in your vet-first system...

I suspect at the rate they're going, the Preds are going to look like the Islanders soon.

Yep. What a shame. You'd think the bar would be much higher.
