Edmonton fans are obsessive about Toronto even though we are not rivals they constantly complain about Toronto even being this deep in the playoffs with the Leafs long out of it. It's an extreme little brother complex.

I'm still cheering for Edmonton though, hfboards is just hfboards

I was reading their pgt since I've been cheering for them since the Leafs got out and sometimes post there, and on page 1 of their pgt the most liked post is quoting a tweet about how Jeff Skinner has more goals in conference finals than Auston Matthews. Idk why they have this strange insecurity despite having the more relevant team this century. Makes it hard for a lot of us to cheer for them.

Personally since I was a kid I was always super excited anytime a Canadian team made the finals. Including when the Sens made it and the Canucks. Can't change that and don't mind it now either.

I and my coworker were discussing about this topic today, he said he always liked the western Canadian teams including Winnipeg, but he hates Ottawa and Montreal. I told him that I don't like Edmonton at all, but if I have to pick one between them and Florida I guess I will have to pick Edmonton.

Hope Matthews is watching how a real player plays. Mcdavid is truly spectacular. Matthews doesn’t have that level of “want”

It is absolutely incredible to me how there are some fans out there who STILL think Matthews is better than McDavid.

It's not even f***ing close. McDavid is head and shoulders so much better than him it's not even funny.

Oettinger was definitely bad, but his team scored 5 goals in the 4 losses and never scored first in this series. They always came out flat and let Edmonton take it to them before waking up

Do you think Matthews will be able to skate faster if he watches McDavid?

I’ve watched Bobby Orr, Wayne, even saw Gordie, Mario, Bossy, Lemieux, Sid, Coffey, Messier…..all of them but I still couldnt skate and play anything like them.

I don't believe DeBoer is a good coach at all and seems like one of those guys who will burn bridges wherever he goes. But coaching in the NHL is a carousel so I'm sure he'll land elsewhere in no time.

Power forwards days dont end too well. But he was a good solider for them. He did take them to finals along with his team mates

He is definatwly on the 18th hole with the clubhouse in sight.

Crazy he won the Art Ross that one year with 80 some odd points.
