Pace is much more of an issue than weapons IMOI think its like you previously said, too slow which leads to it being extremely predictable.
It's almost like they have too many options in the playbook and thus overcomplicate things when sometimes a more direct, simplier approach would work.
Who knows, maybe we see something very different if Marner bolts and Rielly is moved.
Hey Marner spell intencityIt also doesn’t hurt that their stars have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear.
Our stars couldn’t spell intensity if you gave them half the word.
Apparently the story goes Babcock and someone else pushed for Dermot or a D with that pick and they overruled Dubas who wanted Aho... I think something about drafting lots of forwards and not much D. I remember tweets or whatever of that being posted on here... Maybe someone else remember this?Aho again...he is really the best Finn out of the 3 that draft year...who did we pick at the time? Dermott ahead of Aho?
Marner couldn’t say or spell all that. It would put a shambles in his brain.Hey Marner spell intencity

Those are some softies by Bob
I wish Hyman is still on the team but he is not having those numbers if he still on the Leafs.I guess that explains more about how Matthews and Marner are being highly overrated players because if you compare Hyman on their wing compared to being in Edmonton with McDavid or Draisaitl then he is a STAR.

Top 3 Playoff goal scorers in the last 4 years combined once he got out from under poor Leafs coaching and miss management.

One of the main reasons Hyman does so well in Edmonton is that he plays on the #1PP unit in the net front presence position like (Matty Knies) does now. Leafs NEVER played Hyman in Toronto on the #1 PP because they had to play the core 4 because of their high salary costs.
Hyman is built for playoff hockey .. Guess who leads the 2025 playoffs in HITS? AINEC

He averages nearly 8 hits a game.
As Far as 5 on 5 Even Strength goes only Mikko Rantanen has a higher "Expected Goals" in this years playoffs. He is a playoff warrior and the stats do not lie.

Whichever part of the Leafs' leadership was responsible for letting Hyman walk made a clear miscalculation..

Thanks Marleau you turdSlick floater by Jarvis.
What Barkov did I thought that's how Matthews would play
Barkov just wanted it more
Thanks Marleau you turd
Matthews never made a play like that even during the regular season, Sundin has done that a trillion times though. What Barkov did I thought that's how Matthews would play
Barkov just wanted it more
our core players just aren't comparable to their peersWhat Barkov did I thought that's how Matthews would play
Barkov just wanted it more
I try not to pick on the elderly even if they deserve itYou mean Lou for giving him that 3rd year.
