That's impressive but it also exposes how underwhelming they've been on the road.

If you include the postseason, they have a road record of 19-27.

We still need to win tonight but if we do, it's a huge deal we have home ice in the ECF.

I also wish the game was Wednesday but understand the NHL's approach because the Dallas arena was not available on Wednesday (Katy Perry concert).

I gather they didn't want to delay to Wed/Thursday and/or USA TV networks wanted the product filler sooner.

edit: Canes road record in the playoffs has been much better than regular season: R1: 1-1, R2 2-1

Carolina looks rock solid. They're going to be a very tough out for either Florida or Toronto.

Personally I'm leaning toward a Carolina / Edmonton final.

I would much prefer Leafs and Dallas though.

That's why I said I'm leaning toward Carolina in the final. I'm not sure either Florida or the Leafs get past them, but obviously I'm hoping the Leafs take it all the way.

I think the Leafs will match up very well against Carolina if they defeat the Panthers. Win or lose, let's hope the Leafs give them their all tonight.

Carolina plays very fast and they shoot from everywhere and, as we just saw, Florida takes a few nights off from the hard fast game they bring when it matters most, so it’ll be a closer series than some expect.
Carolina can’t win with Anderson.

As long as Dallas wins four games I don’t care how many games it takes.

I think Florida is a little too banged up this time, though I'd never count them out. Carolina has Fredrik Andersen so there's no way I'd trust them to go all the way.

Unless going by regular season stats, I've thought it was quite interesting that not a single underdog has pulled off an upset through two rounds so far. Rather unusual.

Oh yeah, Oilers over Vegas. I tend to not see Oilers as underdogs or favorites in anything, just sort of chaos.
