Around the League - 2024-2025 Part II

edmonton came out business like and played a full 60 to take the strangle hold on a good vegas team

connor brown has lowkey been going off, he has 7 in 10 now the same as JT

wish our team would've done the same in game 4 as edmonton
They did in Game 3, they just couldn't hold on.

Sooo, they didn't then. Oilers played a full 60, Leafs barely played a full 20.
Yes. I was thrilled with how they came out, then not so thrilled the rest of the way.

When Tavares made it 3-1 for a moment I really believed they were going for the kill.

On to Wed. Another chance to silence the critics

But, but they were young geniuses who could read a spreadsheet though and admired Brad Pitt in "Moneyball"... :sarcasm:

The idea that I am going to handover a living investment that employs 1000 of employees, generates 100 million dollars a year, managing human assets that are extemely rare to come by from a talent perspective to a 26 year old university graduate is mind boggling

That's John Chayka

Dallas need to wrap this up and take care of the Oilers, what a dud Vegas have been. I think Florida is the only team in the East who can handle EDM.

After watching Edmonton last night and various games throughout the playoffs it seems every team is employing the running the goalie strategy (except the Leafs.) Hill was bumped into on pretty much every shift.

If Edmonton wins the Stanley Cup I'm pretty sure I will cry.
If Toronto wins the Stanley Cup I will cry. And I will have to buy tickets for my friend and me the next time Leafs are in Edmonton. And I will have to buy a Leafs jersey to wear at the said game. And all the food and drinks for the game. So I win. And I lose.

That's fair tbh.

Jets have definitely been the better team given the shot difference but just watched the 2nd half of the 2nd period and Stars clearly have been the better team in that time

Dallas looked like trash in the first half of the game, but Winnipeg couldn't really take advantage, despite getting an absolute gift of a goal

Dallas took over after that and haven't looked back, although they are a mess in their own zone lol. Oettinger has also looked really good since the stinker
