The Utah Mammoth look like the love child of the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche. But they’re going to go on Jerry Springer to try and figure out if the Seattle Kraken might actually be the dad.

I like their logo but I find their team name corny for some reason. It’s fine for minor leagues like the ECHL/AHL but completely unfit for the NHL, the best professional hockey league on earth.

Home ice advantage means very little these days, and I'm not sure how to take it. Not too far back you'd be lucky to walk away with a split from the home team's barn, thrilled in the rare chance you stole both. Nowadays a split is almost expected, and winning both isn't uncommon.

To me it kind has cheapened and taken the aura out of home ice advantage, but that comes with the territory of wanting league-wide parity.

I mean that’s incredible for them, and it shows they are head and shoulders above their peers but it’s a little misleading
The are all in their primes.

Many players hold on to win a cup and their ppgs drop.
