Around the League - 2024-2025 Part II

Just checked the Oilers comeback summary and was surprised to see the winner from Hyman (3) and the insurance goal from Brown (4). Both with more goals than our caped crusaders.
We have Superman in our line-up, but I'm sure he's pocketing too much cash and a wallet of Kryptonite...

As others observed other series all play like gentlemen in velvet gloves in comparison to our two series. It’s like whatever team comes out on top they would be healthy and fresh to face the Leafs if we advance. Wth?

I think If Washington wants to stay in this series, they will have to start hitting, they played like garbage last night, I expect them to come out hitting and playing well in game 2

The Utah Mammoth look like the love child of the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche. But they’re going to go on Jerry Springer to try and figure out if the Seattle Kraken might actually be the dad.

Yeah I’m not getting ahead myself we still have to get through Florida but I think it’s fair to say physically this will be our toughest match-up. I’m pretty confident about a conference Finals and even in the SCF it’s usually a coin flip. I’m just stunned how non-chalant Vegas looked. There was like no push back after Edmonton tied it
Not sure what this means, but I'm pretty sure it's wrong. Many SCF's have been lopsided in a multitude of different ways.
It would also be very Leafy for us to beat Florida, everyone would be planning the parade but then lose the ECF against Carolina.
It would indeed. People always seem to carried away, remember when we beat TB how so many were chirping - now that we finally got the monkey off our backs, we'll just roll from that point on and so on?

One game, one period, one shift at a time, only way to do it. Leaf fans should know by now that on any given night, any team can win.

Stars defence looks so thin right now without Heiskanen. Ceci and Busch on the 1st and 2nd pairings. You'd think this is Winnipeg's time to get their early wins in
