I will never ever cheer for Ottawa and especially the Habs to beat anyone in the playoffs even the Bruins. I despise both fanbases. The other Canadian fanbases are dicks on here about the Leafs, the whole league is of course, but I dislike them less than the eastern duo. Still don’t want them to win a cup before the Leafs do.

I think it stems from the fact that Bettman seems to favour American teams. Might be conspiracy, or my imagination but I want a Canadian team to win to bother him.

I agree. In reality it's Leafs or bust, but when the Leafs get eliminated I still watch, and then I tend to cheer for any Canadian team left.

As much as Oilers fans can sometimes be obnoxious, it's hard not cheering for McDavid and Drai. They just show up every game and are so exciting to watch

Yeah i was fine with Edmonton during the pre-cap era. They got a raw deal and couldn't compete economically but had loyal fans.
