From what I saw the Habs could only do anything on the powerplay. Washingston handled them nicely 5v5

We were them 10 years ago no with all the hype and took 10 years and new gm/coach to maybe make us legit?

It’s year 10 of McDavid and Edmonton still doesn’t have any depth. I’ll give them last year they went to the SCF, but outside of McDrai they’re pretty thin

It is kind of crazy to see the Oilers (former) depth players making a difference for other teams.

That was a rough off-season for them.

This series has without a doubt the least amout of defence being played. Not sure how either of these teams would matchup with MIN/VEG.

They literally gave away two of their first round picks so they could re-sign Janmark and sign Arvidsson lol. Imagine where this team is with Broberg and Holloway still there

No guarantees that Holloway and McLeod would've taken the step they took this year had they remained in the Oilers, but it's so odd that they gave them away in favour of dusty vets. Jeff Skinner has been healthy scratched in the playoffs lol

Holloway is especially puzzling. They cut bait after only 90 NHL games....

Yeah that was wild. Oilers just kept winding up like the mighty ducks over and over again with all 5 LA in their own end waiting to absord each onslaught. Suprised it almost worked, that looked brutal.

Kings deserve to lose for turtling in the 3rd. They also rode like 8 F and 4 D, so they probably won't have much left in the tank
