Around the League - 2024-2025 Part II

First playoff game with a real sellout crowd in Montreal since April 20, 2017. they couldnt have full crowds in their 2020-2021 Covid bubble playoffs run obviously

Awesome stuff, old time hockey. Would love Tom Wilson on the Leafs
I don't think there is another player in the league that has had an unexpected renaissance more than Tom Wilson. I think most people, myself included, thought his career was basically winding down after the past couple of seasons, and then he comes back with literally the best season of his career.

I'm tempted to say that it's Toronto's doing. I don't think they're as bad as Montreal.
I think it's a bit of both. I think Ottawa actually is this bad from an offense standpoint. They don't have guys who can produce offense in tight spaces. Stutzle can't hold a candle to guys like Caufield and Suzuki, regardless of size.

Idk why the refs can't take 15-20 seconds to review that and see if that's actually a penalty and call a dive. Maybe less players would dive if they know it's gonna get reviewed quickly.

Everytime Hutson and Suzuki are in the ice they make something happen. They are very creative because both players have great vision, hockey sense and a feel for the game.

I don't know how good Huston will ultimately become from a defensive standpoint, but this kid is going to be a point per game defenseman within a couple of years. Talent is a funny thing. This guy is small enough to stuff in a suitcase, but he's more than holding his own against guys he's giving 50 pounds to at the best of times.

Hutson has impressed me.

Suzuki has become a very good player.

If Slaf and Demidov pan out, Mon is really starting to build something
