Around the League - 2024-2025 Part II

Gotta give it to Brayden Point. Fella works his ass off out there. Wings W. Game seemed so tame compared to Leafs games, like both teams were out for a scrimmage or something.

Which is the exact opposite of what we used to hear.

So our run in is the Habs on a b2b
Carolina who have there match up and playoff spot sorted, we're on a b2b but we have more to play for
Buffalo who are out of it
Red Wings who may also be out of it by then

Honestly when you look at that I'm going to be bloody disappointed if we can't fight our way to first in the Atlantic

Ekholm and Hyman done for the night.

It's all coming together. Oilers faceplant in R1 and McDavid wants out.

Ekholm played? Against the f***ing Sharks (yeah yeah they beat us, but they still suck)? Why would you bother? I get they're close to home ice but is it really worth risking re-aggravating the injury of a core player? Especially when they dominate LA in the playoffs.

Maybe they were thinking Sharks he can take it easy and rest him the last two or three.

He played less than 2 minutes though, so they must be at least somewhat concerned.
