The year poster is referring to, he should have won the Conn Smythe imo.

I think that’s a really hard position to defend personally. Kessel was excellent but 3rd line players are never the MVP frankly. Crosby scored bigger goals, played excellent two way, took all the toughest matchups, was the emotional leader of the team, and was negligibly behind Kessel in points. The only argument for Kessel is he had more points, but MVP is so much more than just raw point totals.

Ivan Demidov and SKA have taken a joint decision, which will see the forward join the Montreal Canadiens this season. His KHL rights will remain with SKA. He will return to Saint Petersburgh if he doesn't gain a foothold in the NHL.

He will be making his debut against the Leafs Saturday. You know what that means :naughty:

White socks with black shoes?
White socks with black shoes are absolutely on trend the last year or so. Not brogues, or whatever shoes he's wearing. You need some Paraboot's or Kleman's to pull it off. Could even go the penny loafer route not the shiny ones he has), but not as good as the first two options.

He wasn't a third liner with his first cup with the spend. He averaged more icetime than Malkin during the playoffs.

I think a reasonable case can be made for Crosby that year, but even losing by a hair the MVP to the best hockey player in the world is saying something in of itself
