The Leafs have lost 29 times this season, so you have been "correct" for about 60%.More like 90% correct. Everyone is wrong once in a while.
I haven't made predictions on anything close to every game. Some are tough to call. I think tomorrow's game won't be a tough call because of how Florida is playing, not because of anything special about the Leafs. The Leafs have lost 29 times this season, so you have been "correct" for about 60%.
If they can't beat Ottawa or Montreal in Round 1 that should be officially the end, it's over for this core, full stop, end of story. There would be no objective argument to the contrary and I will take nobody's bullshit on this. It wouldn't even really be worth getting mad over at that point, retool until you have your 1sts again and then set the whole thing ablaze and move on as best you can considering trade clauses. However, to be more positive for a second, if any year could serve as a redemption year at this late stage it's this one. Let's see what they've got. It's their story; they should stop letting others write it.Unbearable to ownership hopefully as well if it happens. If this team can't beat Ottawa or Montreal, they aren't going to go very far against anyone. Win the division, and then win rounds.. .hopefully four. We are going to have to face challenges along the way, I don't care who we end up playing, if they play their best, they can compete against anyone.
Which is precisely why we don’t need them winning games like tonight.Habs have such a soft schedule. Canes will be resting in that last game.
They might catch the Sens too:

There's nothing wrong with being positive, but the whole being obtuse and cherry-picking schtick isn't particularly helpful to be honest. But wait, I thought I was wrong...again?
TTOE will likely beat Washington. The Leafs and Ottawa would be a pretty good series and it wouldn’t be shameful if they lost to Ottawa. If they can't beat Ottawa or Montreal in Round 1 that should be officially the end, it's over for this core, full stop, end of story. Given Rogers' heinous media rights deal they'll want the Leafs to advance to recoup some of that money back, and a loss to Ottawa or Montreal would not only cut their revenue stream short, it would also be even more embarrassing than the COVID-era loss to Montreal. Much more so, in fact.
There's no schtick. I've said from day 1 that the leafs will be in the conference final this season. Not sure what happens from there, but they will come out of the Atlantic this season. There's nothing wrong with being positive, but the whole being obtuse and cherry-picking schtick isn't particularly helpful to be honest.
Bruins now dead last in the conference.
Yes it absolutely *would* be shameful, I'm sorry. The handshake appreciation and participation trophy bullshit needed to end years ago and if these guys can't get it up against an arch rival after consuming almost a decade worth of Cialis then burn them to the ground.TTOE will likely beat Washington. Dude you say they are going to win like practically every freaking game though. I like you but you have to own up to some of this, man. There's no schtick. I think you may have a tough time on Saturday night when Columbus is in Toronto. That isn't ideal scheduling for the Blue Jackets.Which is precisely why we don’t need them winning games like tonight.
Bruins traded thornton, kessel, won cup seguinAfter like half a decade of thinking the wheels would fall off of the Bruins, they finally have.
Excpet that I don't. No question I have gotten things wrong against some drek teams like San Jose and Nashville, but there are a lot of games where I don't call anything. Saturday against Columbus will be one of those games, especially coming off a win against Florida. I could see the Leafs losing that game. But the Florida game tomorrow night? That's all about where Florida is at right now rather than anything about the Leafs.Dude you say they are going to win like practically every freaking game though. I was hoping to get some in a few minutes and you just threw ice water on my gentleman's sausage.Bruins traded thornton, kessel, won cup seguin
Tortorella their next coach probablyBruins now dead last in the conference.
I disagree but I won't push the matter because it's pointless.Excpet that I don't. It's wild that given the remainng schedule there is a decent chance that the Leafs will play Montreal in the first round. That would be an ideal match-up for Toronto.
Would've rather they floundered in mediocrity for a bit, missing the playoffs but not getting a top pick, but... c'est la vieBruins now dead last in the conference.

It's a big gap for sure, but they have one game remaining against Ottawa, so if they win that one the hill isn't as big of a climb.Montreal isn't playing nearly well enough to make up a 5 point difference in 8 games.
