The news comes as Rogers' current $5.2-billion, 12-year rights deal is set to conclude after the 2025-26 NHL season.

I'd rather come second and the Habs miss the playoffs, if I'm being totally honest. But in all fairness this game doesn't matter for standings unless the Leafs beat the Panthers in their own games, so win those two and hope MTL misses.
